Katherina Allen, 42, and her two daughters, Kerri and Kayla were celebrating Kerri’s 10th birthday at a crowded Cracker Barrel restaurant in Ohio Thursday night when her estranged husband shot her and the birthday girl dead while leaving Kayla in critical condition before being fatally shot by police.

According to the Washington Post, Katherina left her husband just two days earlier and fled with her daughters after an incident on Easter that made her too scared to go home for her belongings.

Katherina called 911 when she saw her husband in his car circling the Cracker Barrel parking lot before he entered the restaurant.

When police arrived they heard gunshots and saw Allen leaving the restaurant brandishing a shotgun. Police shot him dead when they ordered him to surrender and he refused, according to CBS News.

The restaurant was evacuated and no one else was hurt.

A 56-year-old weightlifter allegedly shot himself in the shoulder Wednesday night around 9:00 PM after dropping a dumbbell on a .22 caliber bullet in his apartment.

Police said the man’s claim is suspicious but not entirely implausible.

According to the LA Times, neighbors did not report seeing any potential shooters fleeing the area, either.

The rim on the dumbbell could have impacted the bullet with enough force that it shot out, but the situation is still under investigation.

A paid obituary originally printed in the Denver Post describing Michael “Flathead”Blanchard as a man who enjoyed booze, guns, cars, and younger women until the day he died, is now on the Post’s Facebook page garnering a lot of attention.

According to Daily Mail, the link to the obituary on the Denver Post’s Facebook page has received more than 260 responses and 120 shares.

The obitituary gives the time and place of the celebration of life ceremony that will be held in honor of the deceased and warns people under 18 not attend due to possible adult material that may be presented there.

(WIDK By AnnaMarie Houlis) - A teacher who had sex with a student 12 years younger than her faces serious repercussions.

Kristy Sanchez-Trujillo, a 25-year-old former social studies teacher at Albuquerque’s Jimmy Carter Middle School, is accused of having sex with her 13-year-old student in the back of her SUV.

According to Action 7 News, Trujillo had nothing to say at her pretrial hearing on Thursday.

Trujillo is facing charges of rape of a minor and is also accused of violating conditions of her release.

Her trial will begin May 7.

(WIDK By AnnaMarie Houlis) - A teacher is accused of forcing her students to support a sex offender.

The Houston Christian School teacher Laura Perry allegedly launched a pen pal program and made 12 of her fourth grade students write to convicted sex offender Ricky Rae Rowlett because she is family friends with the child molester.

Perry was fired and the principal was put on paid leave while a civil law suit has been placed against the school.

Police are still checking that all the letters have been recovered, but according to My Fox Houston, they fear that the letters may have been shared with other inmates charged with sex crimes.

One mother pulled her children from the school and put them in counseling.

This week Rihanna was spotted by photographers in Australia, where she is currently on her world tour,  wearing a silky trench coat which she turned into a thigh-high-slit dress and appeared to have nothing underneath.

According to HollywoodLife, the 24-year-old pop star paired the trench with a pair of  red high heels, red lipstick, and a side-swept hairstyle.

Some believe that RiRi’s sexy outfit is her way of getting back at her ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown.

Although this may have been a fashion don’t, Rihanna is definitely not scared to make bold fashion statements.

A local TV station is under fire after accidentally showing pornography instead of Good Morning America.

According to The Huffington Post, the Colorado Springs station was having technical difficulties and showed the unrated material for a few seconds before the channel switched to religious programming.

The station has said that Comcast is to blame and that their signal got confused with a different, more adult station.

An outraged parent said on Facebook, “I’ve been on the phone already this morning after the porn that was broadcast while my daughter was eating breakfast! I’m outraged! Sick!”

Comcast spokeswoman Cindy Parson, said, “We sincerely apologize for the programming interruption on KRDO News Channel 13 (ABC) in Colorado Springs and Pueblo.”

(WIDK by Cheyenne Pons) – An actress has traded in their wand for a leather jacket.

The 22-year-old Harry Potter star, Emma Watson, has abandoned her “good girl” image in her new film The Bling Ring, which is set to hit theaters in 2013.

According to People, Watson was photographed while filing on the LA set wearing “a bra, black leather jacket, and skimpy denim shorts.”

The Bling Ring is inspired by actual burglaries that took place in which celebrities such as Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, and others were robbed by fame-obsessed teenagers.

Watson has been cast to play Nicki in the 2013 film.

(WIDK By Bob Bachelder) - A very secretive feline was captured by cameras in Canada.

The Canadian lynx is a very elusive cat however, by using automatic motion-sensitive cameras, researchers in Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada, were able to capture the beautiful cat crossing an overpass.

According to Brandon Sun, the overpasses were built in 1996 to help animals, such as the Canadian lynx, travel to different parts of the park without being hit by cars.

The lynx is rarely spotted because they are less populous and prefer higher terrains.

They are about double the size of your average house cat and hunt snow hare rabbits.

In the past 15 years, 6 Canadian lynx and 11 wolverines have been spotted using the overpass. Mostly they photograph pictures of deer, bears, and wolves.

The lynx are extremely intelligent, so they try to avoid people and anything else that gets close to it.

Sources say that Michelle Obama, the first lady of the United States, has banned “Scandal” actress Kerry Washington from the White House for being “too flirty” with the President.

According to NationalEnquirer, Washington’s character (Olivia Pope) has a steamy affair with the President in the series and Mrs. Obama “is determined to make sure that fiction doesn’t turn into fact.”

Apparently, the First Lady has a “watch list” of women she wants to keep her husband away from.

A White House official silenced this rumor stating that it is “100 per cent false.”

(WIDK By Lukasz Bielawski) - After 7-years of sexual and psychological abuse, a Texas woman is finally free.

When Rebecca Musser was 19-years-old, she was sold by her father to Rulon Jeffs, at the time a 85-year-old leader of an extremist polygamous sect.  Musser was then abused by Jeffs for 7-years until he passed away, and she is now speaking out.

According to Deseret News, Rebecca Musser was the 19th of Jeff’s 65 wives, after Rulon Jeffs died, his son Warren Jeffs, told Musser he would force her for another marriage.

Musser had enough and decided to try to run away, she successfully escaped and avoided being caught by the Church’s guards.

Warren Jeffs is now serving life in a Texas jail for raping two minors.

(WIDK By Bob Bachelder) - This traffic cop is in line for a raise.

Traffic police 2nd Lt. Nguyen Manh Phan ordered a bus driver to pull over the 39-seat passenger coach in order to produce his papers. The driver refused, hopped back into the bus and took off however, to his surprise, Lt. Phan grabbed onto the windshield wipers and held on for close to a mile trying to get the driver to pull over.

According to The Washington Post, the driver reached speeds of up to 30 mph and swerved in an out of oncoming traffic.

Eventually, the driver pulled over and was arrested for acting against public officials, an offense that carries a maximum three-year prison sentence.

The driver previously served 4 years for a fatal traffic accident and was released in 2010.

Alberto Flores Ramirez, 36, is being charged with rape after he lured a Mexican women to a motel by promising to spiritually heal her with a raw egg cleansing method.

According to The Los Angeles Times, After meeting the victim on a dating site, Ramirez promised her that he could bring her children from Mexico to the United States by performing the spiritual ceremony.

During the treatment, Ramirez told her to take her clothes off and then sexually assaulted and raped her.

Ramirez is in custody and his bail is set to $100,000.

29-year-old Anne Hathaway suited up in a form-fitting leather and latex outfit as Catwoman in the “Dark Knight Rises” which will be released in theaters July of this year.

 According to Celebuzz, Anne Hathaway expressed that she had to “physically transform” in order to take on this role.

Hathaway appears next to Christian Bale, Batman, on the cover of Entertainment Weekly, all suited up, sporting a long ponytail, high heels, red lipstick, of course a mask and cat ears.

Critics wonder if Hathaway can “fill the ears” of the former Catwomen, Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry.

There have been numerous complaints about staff members in City Creek Center, which opened up in March, people claim that were asked to leave for holding hands, having tattoos, or ‘looking too gay’.

According to ABC News, shopper Dallon Thorup, claims he was kicked out of the mall for exposing his Chinese symbol tattoo on his shoulder.

Another shopper Skinny Rose, ranted on face book “It is true I was in heels and my makeup was fierce and I was dressed very gender bender and they kick me out for looking too gay.”

Many believe that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is enforcing this strict code of conduct at the mall.

The Director of Marketing for the mall, Dee Brewer, denies all accusations.

(WIDK By Bob Bachelder) - A man jailed back in 2005 for fathering children with his sister has lost his appeal.

Patrick Stuebing, from Germany, had consensual sex with his sister when they met after years of separation and was jailed for 14 months by German authorities for incest.

According to CNN, Stuebing was adopted at age 7 and had no contact with his biological family until he was in his 20′s. His sister was 16.

The couple had four children together from 2001-2005, two of which are disabled.

The German Federal Constitutional Court had “considered that sexual relationships between siblings could seriously damage family structures and, as a consequence, society as a whole.”

Stuebing claimed that the court violated his rights to a private and family life.

Lisa Edelstein, who formally played Dr. Lisa Kuddy on the hit series “House,”  strips down for PETA’s “Eat Green to Go Green” advertisement in which she is promoting vegetarianism.

According to DailyMail, Edelstein appears in the ad, nude, “laying on a bed of curly kale and other leafy greens.”

Although she is 44-years-old, Edelstein has a stunning body which she credits to being a vegetarian since she was 15-years-old.

Edelstein asserts that going vegetarian is not only good for one’s body, but for the environment as well.

(WIDK By Bob Bachelder) - A simple photograph has quickly unraveled this bold hacker’s identity.

Higinio Ochoa III, 30, of Galveston, Texas was arrested in March after he hacked into police websites in West Virginia, Alabama and Texas and leaked confidential information to the public.

According to Gizmodo, Ochoa posted a picture of his girlfriend’s breasts holding a sign that read “Pwned by W0rmer and CabinCr3w, which is a hacker group affiliated with anonymous. The FBI then linked the photo to an iPhone, which eventually led them to Ochoa’s Facebook page.

Ochoa was found shortly after in Syndey, Australia and taken to America where he was placed under arrest. He was released on $50,000 bond.

Ochoa was charged with illegally hacking into at least four U.S. law enforcement websites however, he has said he will help the FBI catch the other members of CabinCr3w.
