(WIDK By Remus Lee) - Radical Islam bares its fangs on a busy UK street.

An off-duty soldier was killed by cleaver-wielding radical Muslims in an effort to force Britain to end its combat operations in Afghanistan.

CBS News reports the men who attacked the soldier remained on the scene to confront police, who quickly incapacitated the men by shooting them in the legs.

One of the assailants professed to the camera that the killing was done in response to British military actions against Muslims in Afghanistan.

Prime Minister David Cameron of the United Kingdom vows that the British people would not be cowed by the attack.

(WIDK By Jane Rouen) - The sensational Arias trial could be prolonged for months.

Because of a hung jury, Judge Sherry Stephens has declared a mistrial of the penalty phase of the infamous Jodi Arias trial, which will determine whether the former waitress, 32, receives a life sentence or the death penalty for the murder of her lover, Travis Alexander.

According to Fox News, several members of the jury were clearly upset at their inability to come to a unanimous decision, and several mouthed the word “Sorry” to Alexander’s family.

The retrial date of July 18th was set, at which time a new jury will hear the details of the story and will try to come to a unanimous decision; if the second panel cannot do so, the judge, who will not have the option of a death sentence, will decide the case.

The jurors deliberated for 13 hours over three days  before telling the judge they were unable to reach a decision.

(WIDK By Jane Rouen) – A woman decides that if she cannot have cheese, she will make sure no one enjoys it.

24-year old Tiara Drake, of Battleboro North Carolina was so angered when her relatives refused to share their cheese with her she got up early, before the others were awake, and poisoned the cheese they would eat for breakfast with Ajax, window cleaner and detergent.

Four members of the family are some before they noticed that there was something wrong with the cheese.

According to ABC News, the family called poison control who told them to drink milk to counteract the effects of the chemicals, and all of the family members are all right.

Drake was charged with five counts of attempted murder.

(WIDK By Rebecca Arden) – A tragic and bizarre scenario has left a young college student murdered in her own home. 

21-year-old Andrea Rebello, a junior at Hofstra University and a member of Beta Sigma Pi Sorority, was murdered in her home, in front of her twin sister and other sorority members, after a masked man broke into her house and held her and her housemates hostage. 

The masked man broke in while Andrea, her twin sister Jessica, and an unidentified woman and man were present in the house, but he let the unidentified women go, instructing her to make a cash withdrawal at a local ATM but instead she called the police.

The N.Y. Daily News reports that police arrived, where a shootout did occur between police and the armed intruder, which resulted in the death of both the intruder and Andrea.

At this time, police do not know who fired the fatal shot that killed Andrea, but are conducting a full investigation.

All of the students in the house were Hofstra students, where Friday was the last day of finals before the start of the summer break.

Of the 11,090 students enrolled at the university, about 3,800 live in the 37 residents halls on campus, with the remainder either commuting or living in off-campus housing.

(WIDK By Jane Rouen) - A spray of bullets killed a ten-year-old girl inside her family’s home.

Elvira Campos, 10, was shot and killed as she watched television inside her family’s Sacramento California home when the house was hit by at least 12 bullets.

Her parents, Ernesto Campos and Imelda Tinoco, were also hit by bullets, but are expected make full recoveries; two other children were unharmed.

According to The New York Daily News, police believe that the family had nothing to do with the attack and were completely innocent.

No arrests have been made.

(WIDK By Jane Rouen) – Two thieves were arrested for a 15-year-old killing boy for an iPad.

Jacob Dismont, 21 and Michael Solid, 18 have been charged with killing  Marco Arenas, 15, of Las Vegas,  when the teenager refused to let go of the iPad the two men were attempting to steal, and got dragged under the wheels of their SUV.

The iPad was a birthday gift from his father, and he had owned the device for about 2 months.

According to The Las Vegas Sun, a car wash was held in by the community as a show of support for the Arenas family which has nine other children; It raised almost $400.

Dismont and Solid have been charged with open murder, robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.

(WIDK By Jane Rouen ) – A Sweet 16 party ends in tragedy when a young girl was shot through a bus window.

Daja Robinson, 14 was shot in the head and killed on a New York City bus when a lone gunman opened fire, spraying the bus with at least ten bullets.

She was hit in the head by a bullet and pronounced dead at Jamaica Hospital.

According to The New York Post, it was not known whether Robinson was the intended victim, although the gunman appeared to target the group of girls who had attended the Sweet 16 party at the nearby Onyx Lounge.

Police were grilling patrons at the Lounge, but have not yet discovered a motive.

(WIDK By Jane Rouen) - A Brockton, Massachusetts man accused of rape and murder appeared at his trial with a swastika carved into his forehead.

Keith Luke, 26, allegedly wanted to kill “non-whites” when he went on a violent spree during which he  shot and raped a 22-year old former neighbor, shot and killed her sister and shot a 72-year old man who was just walking on the street.

According to My Fox Boston, Luke also planned to attack a synagogue near his home in an effort to “fighting extinction” of the white race.

Police removed hand-cuffs, hammers and gags from his house.

He has gone on trial for rape and murder, and it is expected that the defense will enter a plea of insanity.

(WIDK By Jane Rouen ) – A depraved student used the internet to research serial killers and rapists before brutally raping and murdering his neighbor.

Daniel Stani-Reginald, 21, of Sydney Australia, has been convicted of raping and killing his neighbor, Tosha Thakkar, 24, and stuffing her corpse  into a suitcase in order to dump her corpse in a nearby canal.

According to The Sydney Morning Herald, police arrested Stani-Reginald after workman found the bag with the body in it.

When police looked through his computer they discovered that Stani Reginald had accessed thousands of website about brutal rapists and serial murderers, including sites about Jack the Ripper and Charles Manson, apparently schooling himself to become a killer.

He was sentenced to 45-years behind bars.

(WIDK By Jane Rouen) - A man in a drug-induced frenzy shot his childhood friend before stripping naked and climbing a firetruck.

Mohamed Sulaiman Bah, 24, of Silver Spring, Washington, was arrested after shooting his childhood friend in the head, jumping out of a car, stripping naked and climbing a firetruck at a local mall in a PCP-induced rage.

After Bah climbed down from the firetruck, police tasered him to subdue him.

According to WTOP, there was no apparent motive for the shooting, and the injured man is in critical condition.

Bah has been charged with attempted murder, first-degree assault and other related charges; more charges are possible.

(WIDK By Jane Rouen) – Kai, the homeless  man who rose to internet stardom after stopping an assault with a hatchet, was arrested today for murder.

Known as “Kai, the Hatchet-Wielding Hitchhiker,”  Caleb Lawrence McGillvary, 34, was arrested by police in Pennsylvania on charges that he murdered Joseph Galfy, a 73-year old lawyer.

According to The Telegraph, McGallivary became an internet sensation after he gave an interview to a local Fox TV News crew during which he described stopping a violent man by hitting him over the head with a hatchet.

McGallivary wrote a note claiming to have been drugged and raped by his victim before he went on the run.

He has been charged with murder, and bail has been set at $3,000,000.00.

(WIDK By Brittany Hahn) - After murdering babies, this man will hopefully get what he deserves.

Pro-lifers and most others are disgusted and outraged by Houston-based abortionist Douglas Karpen after finding out that he allegedly twisted and ripped the heads off of newborns as a form of abortion. 

Three of Karpen’s former employees said that he would wait until after the babies were born, and then kill them.

Graphic photos were also taken by some employees to back the case up, reports Christian Post.

According to the his clinic’s website, Karpen would perform late-term abortions up to 25 weeks.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office is proceeding with the investigation.

(WIDK By Brittany Hahn) – A community is left in utter disbelief after this shocking murder.

South Carolina school district official Suzanna Brown Simpson, 35, shot and killed her two children while they slept either late Monday evening or early Tuesday morning. 

According to WLTX, 7-year old Carly Brown was enrolled in first grade, and 5-year-old Sawyer Brown was a 4K student.

The children’s father Michael John Simpson was found critically injured by bullet wounds and was rushed to the hospital; reports say he is still recovering.

Teachers who knew the children said they were “sweet as pie,” and a pleasure to have in class.
