(WIDK By Jane Rouen) – This 425-pound man eluded capture by hiding behind a tree.
56-year old Victor Joseph Espinoza of Santa Ana, California, a convicted gang member, was sentenced to 32 months in prison for sniffing a 10 year old boy’s arm.
As the boy and his cousin walked to soccer practice in a park, the 425- pound Espinoza asked the child if he wanted to see Espinoza’s gang tattoo, then grabbed the little boy and sniffed his arm, but the boy got free.
After being told what happened, the boy’s soccer coach tackled Espinoza who ran away and hid behind a tree, but he was found by the Santa Ana police.
According to CBS Los Angeles, Espinoza’s plea deal, for false imprisonment, included dismissal of charges of street terrorism and a sentencing enhancement for gang activity.
