(WIDK By Bob Bachelder) - A simple photograph has quickly unraveled this bold hacker’s identity.
Higinio Ochoa III, 30, of Galveston, Texas was arrested in March after he hacked into police websites in West Virginia, Alabama and Texas and leaked confidential information to the public.
According to Gizmodo, Ochoa posted a picture of his girlfriend’s breasts holding a sign that read “Pwned by W0rmer and CabinCr3w, which is a hacker group affiliated with anonymous. The FBI then linked the photo to an iPhone, which eventually led them to Ochoa’s Facebook page.
Ochoa was found shortly after in Syndey, Australia and taken to America where he was placed under arrest. He was released on $50,000 bond.
Ochoa was charged with illegally hacking into at least four U.S. law enforcement websites however, he has said he will help the FBI catch the other members of CabinCr3w.
