(WIDK By Nick Miller) - A mother fails to do her son’s laundry, resulting in her abuse.
On Sunday, April 8, police found elderly mother, JoAnn Cornelius, 73, dead after her son Gregory, 46, had duct-taped her to a chair, beat her, and cut the tube to her vital oxygen tank, all because she would not do his laundry.
According to The Press-Enterprise, Cornelius called a friend on Sunday and told her he was suicidal and was going to kill his mother. That friend then called the police.
When police reached her elderly home that night, they found JoAnn had freed herself from the binds of the chair and without her necessary oxygen attached.
Court documents will show a long list of prior conflicts between JoAnn and Gregory.
JoAnn has both accused and denied all present and past allegations of abuse.
