(WIDK By AnnaMarie Houlis) – A man who abandoned a litter of puppies and their mother did not make the smartest move.

A suitcase zipped up with six English bulldog puppies and their mother was picked up on April 4 by the Lucas County Dog Warden’s office; tags with the contact information for Howard Davis were still on the luggage.
Davis was allegedly trying to move but failed to sell his puppies and decided to abandon them instead.
However, Toledo Area Humane Society officer Gene Boros filed two counts of abandonment against Davis on Tuesday.
According to Toledo Blade, Davis could be facing first-degree misdemeanor abandonment, which carries a maximum of six months in jail, and a fine of $1,000, or second-degree misdemeanors, which carry up to 90 days in jail and up to a $750 fine—he has not been arrested just yet.

Too bad things like this never happen near me… I’d love to have a couple English Bull puppies. :/
