(WIDK By AnnaMarie Houlis) - One boy found more than just eggs in his Easter egg hunt this year.
A three-year-old boy found a live hand grenade in an Easter egg hunt held in Holford, Somerset on Saturday morning.
According to ABC News, the boy was actually standing on the device, thinking it was a rock, when an adult spotted him.
There were about 25 children in that field during this year’s egg hunt, all unknowingly at risk.
The device, however, was able to be destroyed in a controlled explosion, and all of the attendees remained safe.
