A 12-year-old pit bull named Kilo took a bullet to save his owner, Justin Becker, from an intruder posing as a delivery man, in Staten Island, New York Saturday and survives.
Becker trapped the would-be robber in his doorway while his girlfriend, Nicole Percoco, 22, ran to the kitchen to get a knife. The robber suddenly shot Kilo once in the head and ran.
According to Huffington Post, the bullet did not penetrate Kilo’s skull and exited through his neck.
Becker and his girlfriend took Kilo to South Shore Animal Hospital in Staten Island where Dr. Greg Panarello said Kilo was very lucky and described the incident as one in a million.
Kilo is recovering back home.

I just want to crawl through the screen and hug him. he looks so sad, but such a good dog. people can go to hell if they think the breed is bad!
