(WIDK By Olivia Roat) - Another teacher-student sex scandal has come to light, this time between a teacher from a Kansas high school and three of her male students.
Twenty-eight-year-old Michelle L. Preston, a former psychology and geography teacher and cheerleading coach at Shawnee Mission West High School in Kansas, pleaaded guilty on Thursday to three felony counts involving students age 16 or older.
The sexual counters occurred in 2010, and according to The Republic, Preston was suspended in March 2011 after the allegations surfaced.
After the suspension, Preston apparently sustained serious injuries when she tried to drive her SUV off a cliff; after being treated at a hospital, she was arrested and placed on bond.
Preston is currently free on bond, and sentencing is scheduled for June 1.
