(WIDK by Patrick Heywood) - Has Jesus Christ appeared… on a stingray?
In the days leading up to Easter Sunday, Erika Scheldt, 24, photographed a stingray with the face of Jesus Christ on it’s back on a beach in South Carolina on Friday.
When she saw the stingray washed on the beach, Scheldt thought it just looked like a homeless man with a beard.
But, according to The Huffington Post, it wasn’t until she posted the pictures on Instagram where she realized what she was posting.
Scheldt, a Catholic herself, chalks this one up to coincidence, but did admit it was interesting with Easter approaching.
“It’s such a beautiful image on such a harmful thing,” said Scheldt.
