(WIDK By Nick Pollack) - Tragedy struck on the porch of a Houston home on Saturday night.
4-year-old Isaiah Nicholas was shot in the head during a drive-by shooting as he stood on the front porch, yet miraculously survived after he was rushed to a local hospital in Houston, Texas.
According to Daily Mail, Isaiah repeatedly pleaded ‘Mamma, I don’t want to die’ as he was placed into an ambulance and sent to Hermann Memorial Children’s Hospital.
Isaiah is currently in critical condition inside the hospital, as the gunshot traveled through the boy’s temple.
Police are still on the hunt for the shooter, who was identified to be the boyfriend of a woman residing inside the Houston home at the time of the incident.

What’s wrong with people! The scientist who completed the genome project in the early first part this century stated that human beings are 99.8% identical. The color of our skin, eye coloar, hair texture makes up less than 2/100 of a per cent in difference. Sometimes humanity is just so sad! We are human beings, supposedly the most evolved species on earth and love how we treat each other. Never ending senseless wars, murder of complete strangers for no valid reason, abuse of small child by the people who are called to protect them. Sometimes I think evolution is right, we are really just an higher order of animal on the earth. A rapid pack of dogs would show more humanity to a cat than we do to each other. And sadly enough technology which should make people more educated and sophisticated only brings out the worst in us. A place where we could share in the true sadness and loss of an innocent life, inspires some sick, pervese comment about a young child who did nothing to anyone. If this is rate we are going, may God have mercy on our grandchilder!
