(WIDK by Patrick Heywood) - A former teacher drugged and had sexual relations with a 13-year-old boy for almost two years.
Former Massachusetts elementary school teacher Christine McCallum, 29, has been sentenced to 29 months in prison for raping and drugging a 13-year-old student.
McCallum was arrested in January 2009 on the charges of raping the boy up to 300 times over a two year period beginning when he was 13.
The abuse began when McCallum started tutoring the boy’s 11-year-old brother back in 2006.
According to Daily Mail, she was arrested when the boy’s father found out about the relationship, who called McCallum a ‘true predator and monster’ in a court statement.
She pleaded guilty to 12 counts of child rape, one count of drugging a person for sex, and one count of providing alcohol to a minor.
On top of McCallum’s 29 month prison sentence, she will also be serving 10 years probation for her crimes.
