(WIDK By Mike McCurdy) – A South Florida teen is charged with 3 DUI’s in 3 weeks.
Kimberly McCarthy, 18, from Tampa, Florida, was arrested on 3 separate occasions for DUI and possession of marijuana,Xanax and drug paraphernalia, all within the span of 3 weeks.
According to the Tampa Bay Times, McCarthy had only been issued her learner’s permit in November and was in violation of driving restrictions each time she was pulled over, including the first incident on February 24 when she was found in the possession of marijuana, a bong, a roach clip and a glass pipe.
Her adoptive father, David McCarthy, 69, says that his daughter is misunderstood and simply hangs around with the wrong crowd.
McCarthy is currently being held at Hillsborough County jail after a judge denied her bond.
