A Connecticut man, Michael Gorneau, 46, called 911 while allegedly stealing 700 pounds of scrap metal last Thursday.
According to The Daily News, he accidentally made the call while crawling under a fence and authorities believed it was an emergency call due to rustling they heard in the background.
Gorneau, charged with larceny and trespassing, has been released on bond and is to appear in court on Monday, April 2nd as reported by Huffington Post.
