4-year-old Neveah Reynolds can now write her own fairy-tale about being a hero, after saving her sister from drowning in a pond. 2-year-old Kazmirah, who was told by their father that kissing a frog would turn him into prince charming,  was determined to find hers that day and jumped into pond near their home in LaFollate, Tennessee.

According to The Huffington Post, the girls mother heard their screaming and ran outside in a panic, to find one of her daughters soaking wet but not injured.

Neveah found a strong stick and pulled her sister out of the pond.

This is the kind of story one wishes they could read, daily. Murdering, raping, and stealing seem to be what news agencies love to report, and apparently, what most love or enjoy reading or watching. It’s a sad, miserable world we have created for our children, all because we truly fail to care, and to know how to love one another. If mankind continues to exist for another hundred years, I wonder if we will advance beyond this era of violence, stupidity, and arrogance, or will all of that eventually be our ruination?
