(WIDK By Bob Bachelder) - Three young girls and their mother have been found dead after a horrific murder-suicide.
It is believed that Christine Adewunmi, 37, from Missouri, shot her three daughters, Lauren, 8, Samantha, 6, and Kate, 3, before turning the gun on herself.
According to St. Louis Today, the bodies were found along a Missouri river, each with one gunshot wound to the head.
The father and husband of the victims reported the four missing on Friday after coming home from work.
Police are confident that this was a triple murder-suicide and no other parties were involved.
Adewunmi’s car was found relatively close to the scene.
