(WIDK By Andrew Kepshire) - These parents got the caging they deserved.
Florida couple Michael Marshall, 38, and Sharon Glass, 48, were jailed late Thursday and charged with three counts of aggravated child abuse after a malnourished 12-year-old was found locked-up in their residence.
According to the Washington Post, Marshall and Glass reportedly confessed to punishing Marshall’s son by denying him food and caging him.
He was routinely punished for ‘stealing’ food he wasn’t allowed, though he weighed only 40-pounds when taken by authorities to the local hospital where he was treated for dehydration and malnutrition.
Welfare had previously been to the home on reports of misconduct, and a neighbor notes he hadn’t seen the boy since November.
The starved boy, as well as Marshall’s 10-year-old daughter and Glass’s 5-year-old son have been removed from the home and are under care by the Florida Department of Children and Families.

Why is it that when I see these stories, it’s always only one child that gets fucked up but not the others? its usually either the youngest or oldest also. :I i just don’t get it.
Poor boy, I hope he makes a full recovery from this.
The U.S. Government clearly does a very poor job of protecting the nation’s children.
