(WIDK By Bob Bachelder) - One woman is using gasoline as fuel for her body rather than her vehicle.
TLC’s television program, My Strange Addiction, has introduced the public to Shannon, a 20-year-old London citizen who is addicted to drinking gasoline, and claims to ingest about 12 teaspoons per day.
According to The Nation, Shannon told TLC that she has consumed over 5 gallons in the past year.
Ingesting gasoline is extremely dangerous and has a variety of side effects including burns, vomiting, diarrhea, and in some cases, death.
“Even though it hurts me, it makes me feel good,” Shannon says.
Shannon keeps a canister under the sink for home use and fills a water bottle with the flammable liquid if she is heading out.
The full episode is set to premiere Sunday on TLC.

Yes it is very dangerous to drink gasoline in copious amounts but if one were to do it in very small amounts and work there way up to the equivalent of a shot glass or two a day, I don’t see why a person couldn’t gain an immunity to it. This is only a theory so don’t try it! You will probably die!
