this is more than likely a real tattoo…I am a tattoo of 40 years. I have done similar work myself..the use of detail and tecneque, can bring this type of out come….but photos notoriously make the work look even better than it is, with a little oil, and lighting, u’r tattoo can look much brighter than it is, but u cant make bad work look good, as u cant make exceptional work look bad, not say’n that this is not exceptional work, because it is, but none the less a real tattoo.

Actually thats not the case, it is a real tattoo, and since he went to a good artist that used good needles and good ink (you can tell quality when you see it) Its not gonna fade if he takes proper care of it. It is the crappy tattoos that fade Not real ones, I can tell by looking at it that he did not get this in prison or by an needle and thread when he was a kid. Its professional and a good one at that. They use good quality ink… have you not ever seen a good tattoo? That is very unfortunate.
Quite honestly, if you think it’s photoshop, or even painted, you’re gravely mistaken. I have a degree in art, also, I’ve been tattooing for quite some time now…THAT is authentically a tattoo… if you zoom in close enough to it, you can see the white highlights that have been used with a fine-line needle. Any good artist, out there, can grey wash so softly, that is looks as smooth as real life. This artist is extremely talented, and those that wish to say otherwise…well, I guess you’re just jealous that you’re not as talented.

what is it with the whole Photoshop thing. Not everyone has prison tattoos, or tattoos that were given when your 12 with a needle and some ink!
I worked at a tattoo shop for over a year myself, i got to witness some very very amazing 3D tatts, and i get all my tatts for free, since i know my artist so well. A LOT of artists can do work this good, and though it is not as often as you see this as the simple flash crap, if you chooose flash you get it
and whoever said because its latin its pointless. Your a flipping imbecile. Not everyone wants the shitty ass flash in the books, some people like cool concepts and new ideas. Obviously your not one of them.

Personalty I think it was shot/CREATED by a talented artist and captured through a professional grade camera, and compressed for better web performance and projected on your monitor thats most likely Calibrated poorly.

Looks real to me and amazing work it is! My tattoos are works of art as well. I have a full back piece, rib cage and a half sleeve. A few other small ones including a zipper on the scar where my appendix was removed. This 3 D effect is very possible if you have a good and experienced Artist! Its sad that most people settle for mediocrity. Its for life get it done by the best!!!

you can tell is this real because of the white in the tattoo.. you can always tell with white because you can see each little pin mark… well atleast thats my experience with white, and from what ive seen on others.. and is the same here…

@anyone who uses the word “tat”- as a HEAVILY tattooed individual, you are all idiots. First, no one has “tats”, except girls on spring break, and people incarcerated. Second, it could easily be a real TATTOO, I have personally seen work of this quality before. Tattoo, not “tat” or “ink”… Your local tattoo artist, or tattooer, will appreciate your verbage.

The only thing more pathetic than overly tattooed people, are people who claim they’re some kind of “individual” by placing highly idiotic “tats” all over their body. Nothing uglier than covering your body’s natural beauty, with a bunch of crap because the stupid douche you party with is doing it.
Sadly, most people will look like even bigger dip-shits when their skin wrinkles and ages, and they appear as a used up, drunken carny with faded “ink” all over their sagging bodies.
As for using the term “tat” versus “tatoo”…who fucking cares? That really inspired you to compose an entire paragraph? Your girlfriend probably has a dolphin on her lower back, idiot.
The only “tats” I’ve ever noted as respectful or worthy of anything other than a shudder, are people of indigenous origin, who actually have purpose and meaning behind theirs, instead of some moronic–likened to NKOTB, social, pop-culture fad.

Then with respect, your tats must be pretty low-res. I used to work with a girl who had full back and chest plates, and the designs on her body easily equalled this in terms of technique – I used to marvel at how her tats looked airbrushed on vice needleworked. A skilled tattoo artist absolutely can do fine detail work of this quality.
The only reason anyone would say it’s not real..Their skeeeert.

To the non-believers,.. that’s definitely a real tat. A skilled and talented tat artist can do an awesome shading job and have it look very realistic. If you look at the skin on the rest of the person (the arm hairs, etc) you will see that it is real. It is just REAL GOOD WORK!
